Title: PMA Quality Engineer
What You Do at Team JAS: I’m responsible for running the quality system for the PMA Design & Manufacturing department in accordance with Code of Federal Regulations Title 14 Part 21. I help move parts through the quality system by developing inspection plans, inspecting parts, designing inspection & manufacturing tooling, reviewing non-conformance reports, and qualifying parts for release with certificates of airworthiness.
Your Favorite Part of Your Job: Developing inspection and manufacturing tooling. It’s great to see a tool help someone and speed up the process.
Why did you choose the aviation field?: I decided to join the aerospace club in college on a whim and have been hooked since.
