Team JAS is proud to announce the addition of a state-of-the-art Skydrol hydraulic test stand to our Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility. This strategic advancement enhances our ability to support aircraft hydraulic systems that utilize Skydrol, a widely used fire-resistant hydraulic fluid in aviation.
With this new equipment, Team JAS can now test engine-driven pumps and hydraulic accessories with increased precision and efficiency. This expansion allows us to better serve operators of both legacy and modern aircraft, ensuring that critical components meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
First Skydrol Hydraulic Test Stand Capabilities Now Live
The first two components now supported by our new Skydrol Hydraulic Test Stand:
- Part #82970014-Series – Main Gear Rear / Center Door Actuator: A vital component in aircraft landing gear systems, this actuator plays a key role in gear door operation and hydraulic sequencing. Found on the De Havilland Canada DHC-8 or Dash 8 Classic (100, 200, 300).
- Part #66173-Series – EDP Pump (Engine-Driven Pump): A core element of the aircraft hydraulic system, the EDP pump ensures consistent hydraulic pressure for flight control surfaces, landing gear, and braking systems. Found on the De Havilland Canada DHC-8 or Dash 8 – Q400.
These capabilities mark the beginning of our expansion in hydraulic testing services, allowing us to deliver faster turnaround times, enhanced reliability, and greater value to our customers.
